Position: Digital Marketing & Projects Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director

Salary and Benefits:

This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $ 30/ hour, depending on experience and qualifications. After 3 months’ probation, this position shall transition to a salaried role to include holidays, vacation, sick time, and personal time, as well as a 401K plan with 4% employer match.

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing & Projects Coordinator is responsible for leading all aspects of the Leela Foundation’s (LF) marketing operations and coordinating projects. This position plays a key role in promoting LF’s mission and programs both locally and globally, enhancing its visibility, and driving engagement. The Digital Marketing & Projects Coordinator will develop and implement marketing strategies that amplify LF’s presence while supporting its educational, cultural, and artistic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution
-
Develop and execute marketing strategies (digital, non-digital, and grassroots) to achieve targeted outcomes in a timely fashion.

Digital Content Creation & Management
-
Create, schedule, and manage content for social media, email campaigns, and website communications.

Implement innovative approaches to enhance online visibility, engagement, and brand consistency.
​​
Video & Visual Content
-
Create and edit video content to enhance storytelling and engagement across digital platforms.
​
Print Materials & Communication
-
Collaborate with the Executive Director on brochures, flyers, and the annual report.

Coordinate production timelines and liaise with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outputs.

Website Traffic & Analytics
-
Develop strategies to increase website traffic and optimize user engagement.

Monitor and report on website and campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights.

Integrate emerging tools and practices into strategies for continuous improvement.
​​
Media & Public Relations
-
Draft and distribute press releases with the Executive Director and LF Board.

Manage advertising, media sponsorships, and relationships with media contacts to ensure effective collaboration.
​
Project Coordination
-
Support administrative, and event management tasks, ensuring smooth project execution.

Maintain project schedules, track deliverables, and monitor deadlines for various initiatives.

Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director, LF Board, and external partners to streamline workflows.

Administrative Support
-
Assist with scheduling, communications and meeting organization.
-
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education:

-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.​
​​
Preferred Qualifications:

A passion for the arts and familiarity with cultural and performing arts organizations.
Skills & Experience:

-
Proven expertise in social media management and staying ahead of marketing trends.

Creativity and innovation in developing compelling campaigns and content.

Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills, with the ability to create persuasive communications tailored to diverse audiences.

Proficiency in video creation and editing.

-
Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.

Exceptional attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent judgment in managing competing responsibilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google documents/drive, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Wix or similar tools.
