About the Instructors
Smt. Jayashree Aravind
Smt. Jayashree Aravind, a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri K.S. Narayanaswamy, is a distinguished Veena artiste with decades of experience as a performer and teacher.
She has also trained with renowned Vidwans like Smt. T. Brinda and Palghat Shri K.V. Narayanaswamy. A Grade A artiste of All India Radio, she has an extensive repertoire featuring compositions by Muttuswami Dikshithar, Subbaraya Sastri, and others.
Smt. Jayashree Aravind has performed at prestigious venues in India, including The Music Academy and Swathi Festival, and has been recognized as the Best Veena artiste by The Music Academy and Indian Fine Arts Society. Her international tours span Europe, with performances and demonstrations in Switzerland, Germany, Vienna, Italy, and the South of France.
She is known for her soulful renditions and dedication to nurturing the next generation of Carnatic musicians.

Anugrah Lakshmanan
Anugrah Lakshmanan is a multi-talented artist celebrated for his dedication to the classical arts and his creative pursuits in origami craftsmanship and trekking, which reflect his innovative and exploratory spirit.
He is also the founder of Minna Minni, a unique platform designed to reimagine Carnatic music through fresh perspectives. This initiative not only deepens appreciation for this timeless art form but also provides enriching experiences for both listeners and learners. Anugrah’s ability to blend tradition with innovation has made him a respected figure in the Carnatic music community, inspiring audiences and students alike.
Bhuvanashree Bhavani
Bhuvanashree Bhavani is an alumna of Isha Samskriti and has been learning Carnatic Music for over 15 years. She began her initial training with Smt. Jayashree Aravind and is now under the mentorship of renowned musician TM Krishna.
Having performed as a solo vocalist and as part of the orchestra in various dance productions, Bhuvanashree has had a versatile experience as a musician. This has improved her teaching technique over the years and has also multiplied the variety of compositions she has to offer to her students.
